SEAI Window & Door Grant Cork | Check Eligibility

Government Support to Upgrade Your Home Efficiently

The SEAI (Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland) offers grants to help homeowners upgrade to energy-efficient windows and doors.

Under the current scheme, you can receive funding towards both window and door upgrades. Windows can receive up to €4,000 and external doors up to €800 per door, max 2 doors. Because of this, many homeowners in Cork are now upgrading to:

  • Reduce heat loss
  • Eliminate drafts
  • Lower energy bills
  • Improve BER rating
  • Increase property value

Check If Your Home Qualifies

To qualify for the SEAI window & door grant:

  • You must be the homeowner
  • The property is typically built before 2011
  • The home must be occupied
  • Work must meet SEAI energy performance requirements

Most importantly – you must receive grant approval before starting any work.

What Type of Upgrades Are Eligible?

To be eligible, installations must meet required energy efficiency standards.
This includes:

  • A-rated or high-performance glazing
  • Approved U-value levels
  • Proper installation to reduce heat loss

That is why the right product choice and proper installation matter. We can help you choose suitable windows and doors that fit the scheme requirements.
